Everyone’s A Critic And Savoury City Loves That!

I believe that you can’t be great at anything unless you love it. You can be good at many things, but to be truly great, an abiding love and passion for what you do have to be at the epicentre. I contend that this is what sets Savoury City apart. Indeed, Head Honcho, Donna Wadsworth and her partner in life and in business, Blaine Arnot, don’t just like their work, they love it–a fact that is evident as soon as you meet them! When one has passion for their work, they are always seeking, looking to learn more, perfect and continually dream bigger. This is definitely the case when it comes to this culinary dynamic duo! Donna and Blaine are never satisfied with resting on yesterday’s successes. Instead, they are always looking to improve, innovate and challenge themselves. Is this the easy way? The path of least resistance? No. But the reality is that being great takes constant vigilance and effort. It’s not easy, but the rewards are real, substantive and, well, worth it!

The Proof is in the Reviews

The truth is that Donna and Blaine work hard and go the extra mile for their clients because their main objective is to spread joy thought custom catering. But don’t take my word for it! The proof is in their reviews! Here is just a sampling of typical (unedited) Google Reviews that accurately encapsulate the effect that Donna, Blaine and their incredibly talented staff have on their clients.

Dinner Party for 12

Suzanne McPherson writes: “Held a catered dinner party for 12 in my home for the first time.  Joan at Savoury City did a great job of helping me plan the menu and I was thrilled with the end result.  The Chef and Server who came to my home provided phenomenal service and the food quality was excellent.  Was so nice to be able to relax and let them take care of all the details and service. Highly recommend Savoury City and will be doing this again soon I hope!”

90th Birthday Party!

Amanda Thompson writes: “Fantastic caterers! I was planning a birthday dinner for my 90-year-old mom remotely from Florida and Sarah K. from Savoury City was the best! She was very responsive and great to deal with via emails and phone calls. When you’re planning an event 3,000 miles away you have to put a lot of trust into people and Savoury City didn’t disappoint. The dinner was fantastic and everyone raved about the food. It was hot on arrival and presented so very nicely.  The birthday cake was beautiful and very tasty. Their prices are extremely competitive and I felt it was worth every penny compared to going out to a restaurant (there were 12 of us dining at a rental condo).  Sarah K. went above and beyond to ensure everything would be perfect for this dinner. I would HIGHLY recommend these caterers – I used to be an event planner so my standards are pretty high.”

Dietary Restrictions? No Problem!

Jenny Sun writes: “Elisenda is an absolute dream to work with– I had to order corporate catering that involved somebody with MANY dietary restrictions. Eli was super patient and sweet with me, I had called her back-to-back at least 4 times in an hour and not once did she sound agitated or unprofessional. Her level of customer service is top-notch and I will definitely be going to her for any future orders!”

These are just a few reviews. There are many many more similar ones! They are a testament not only to the quality of Savoury City’s catering, but also to their ongoing commitment to ensure that their clients are totally taken care of from the very beginning of the process to the very end!
