Feast of Fields is that special
fall fundraiser for FarmFolk/CityFolk,
where food consumers come face to face with food producers
to sample their wares. We love this event because
it promotes a whole myriad of connections. You get
to see and taste where our great food and wine is
coming from and who's making it!
The years event was held at Vista
D’oro Farms in Langley. We presented a Skeena
River Sockeye Salmon Mini Burger with an Organic Tomato,
Corn & Fennel Relish. We would like to thank our
organic supplier 'Hanna Brook Farm' in Maple Ridge
for their spectacular produce!
FarmFolk/CityFolk is a non-profit society
that wants one simple thing: for people to eat local,
fresh, seasonal foods, grown using farming practices
that contribute to the health of the planet. FarmFolk/CityFolk
works with farm and city to cultivate a local, sustainable
food system.
