About the food

1. Our food is very healthy. Everything is made from scratch, contains no additives or preservatives and uses only the finest ingredients we can find. We use local, organic produce (when seasonally available), and use only reputable butchers, fishmongers and artisanal suppliers.back

2. It's very quick and easy! You can come home from work, grab something frozen from the freezer, pop the contents into a microwaveable dish, thaw, heat and eat! Or you can put a dish into the oven and heat it conventionally...the slow way.bac

3. Although we don't follow any specific diets, a lot of our food is naturally low carb. There is also a complete list of ingredients on each label, so even if there is a teaspoon of sugar in a specific dish, it will be listed. If you have any questions about a specific dish, you can always give us a call.back

4. Our food is made in a fully licensed, commercial kitchen located at Fraser and King Edward in East Vancouver.back

5. We have done a lot of research as to the kinds of foods that freeze well and those that don't. We therefore only prepare the types of foods that aren't adversly affected by freezing. Freezing also seals in the flavours of a dish when they're at their best. We often get customers saying 'I can't believe this was frozen.'back

6. Yes, our menu changes seasonally. We do a spring/summer menu and then a fall/winter menu. We are also planning to do a special "Christmas Entertaining" menu. back

7. Our food is packaged in “oven-ready” foil containers, not in microwaveable containers. We do this because it’s environmentally responsible, as the containers as well as the outside packaging can be completely recycled. Should you wish to microwave, it only takes a second to transfer the food from the foil container to a ceramic dish. A complete list of ingredients, date prepared, portion size and heating instructions are found on every package. back

8. You can order by simply calling 604 875-8484 and placing your order over the phone. Or you can order on-line at the bottom of our menu page. back

9. We will send an reply via e-mail as soon as we receive your order.back

10. You can pay when you place your order by using a credit card (visa or mastercard) or upon delivery with either cash or cheque. All orders are C.O.D. and subject to 7% GST.back

11. There is a $5.00 charge for deliveries in Vancouver.

12. There is a minmum order that varies with location. Our delivery page spells it all out right here. back

13. No, you don't have to be home to receive your order. We can make arrangements to leave a cooler in safe area for you.back
