The Details


At a wonderfully enchanting summer home on Bowen Island…

Most guests will begin to arrive on the island shortly after 3:00PM for the 4:00PM wedding ceremony, and the ceremony itself will take place at the front of the cottage, overlooking the water.

Friends and family will gather around as Ali and Hamish are officially united…A group photo will immediately follow the ceremony, and then a signature PIMMS cocktail will be tray passed. Wine, beer and mixed drinks will also be available from the bar.

Our service staff will then begin tray passing a lovely selection of both hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a selection of dips will be displayed on various tables.

Mingling and chatting will continue until approximately 6:30PM, and then guests will be invited to partake in a fabulous West Coast buffet dinner. At approximately 8:00PM, a dessert buffet will be set up with delicious wedding cake, fresh fruit and berry platters, and freshly brewed coffee and tea.

Dancing will then follow, and guests will continue to eat, drink and be merry…

Tray Passed Hors D’oeuvres

Grilled Jumbo Prawns
Skewers of marinated jumbo prawns, grilled and served with a Tequila-Lime mayo
Pear & Cambazola Parcels
Caramelized pears, sautéed leeks and cambazola in phyllo pastry…served warm
Mini Tartlets
Caramelized onion and chevre in incredibly flaky pastry…served warm

Ole Mexican Dip
Layers of spiced refried beans, guacamole, salsa and sour cream with fresh tomatoes, shredded Cheddar cheese, green onions and black olives…served with tri-color tortilla chips
